Tempreratures are the average daily maximum for each month. Ibiza and Formentera operate on a six-month tourist season, which begins on 1May and finishes 31 October. The high season runs from July through to early September, when the islands are at their most crowded. June is usually wonderful, while the sea remains warm until late October, Winter is a super time to visit; though the climate is less reliable it's very rarely chilly, with clear blue skies and mild evenings usually the norm. The problem is getting to the islands -- there are currently no direct flights from the UK between November and April so you'll have to travel via another city in Spain. Many of the smaller resorts close down for winter, but there are still plenty of accommodation options in Eivissa and Sant Antoni, and if you're hiker or biker it's the perfect time of the year for exploration.
