Temperatures arebthe average daily maximun for each month. Tenerife is famous as a year-round destination and though there can be winter cloud and some rain in the north, the main holiday areas in the south are almost rain-free all year around. The upper reaches of the peak of Mount Teide are generally snow-capped inwinter and well into spring.
The island is strongly influenced by the prevailing trade winds, and it can be windy at any time of the year,particularly on the northwest coast, but it's usually a warm wind. the peak holiday season is invitable in the summer, but the climate is pleasant all year round. A good time to come, however, is in spring when the air is crisp and the flowers are in bloom.
